MOD is responsible for Ukraine’s defence capabilities, managing the military forces, planning and executing military operations and supplying military units with material and resources coordinating with national and international stakeholders.
Mriya Aid has worked with AFU, NGU and other MOD agencies since early 2022. Our direct partnership with MOD began in February 2024 and has resulted in successful train and equip projects for AFU-MOD sappers, as well as impactful advocacy work in mine action.

In 2024, the MD MA-MOD worked closely with Mriya Aid on our EOD Train & Equip program, which saw over 150 Ukrainian state agency sappers trained and certified in IMAS EOD and equipped with PPE, detectors, toolkits and other life-saving gear - and another 18 managers certified to IMAS L3+.

NCOs represent a post-Soviet, NATO-supported mindset and structure for the fulfillment of missions in the AFU (including SSTS and NGU). NCO training includes leadership and management skill building as well as combat training, critical thinking, making balanced decisions, and leading effectively.
Since 2022, Mriya Aid has supported NCOs across services and units in Ukraine, and has provided material assistance for the NCO Leadership Course offered at the National Defence University of Ukraine.

WICC supports women in the areas of legal assistance, psychological support, social adaptation, and consultations on health, economic independence, and combating violence. Since 2016, the WICC has been consulting the security sector on gender issues and women’s rights.
Since our meeting in late 2023, Mriya Aid has collaborated with the WICC to promote further integration of women in Ukraine’s defence and security forces.

Help Ukraine 22 and Freedom Friends
Provide humanitarian assistance, support Ukraine’s civilian population, and help Ukrainian military personnel on the frontlines as well as war victims.
Mriya Aid has coordinated with Help Ukraine 22-Operation Palyanytsya since March 2022 and with the associated Freedom Friends since 2024 to deliver critically needed emergency gear to firefighters and medical supplies and equipment to hospitals near the front line.

Is a civil society project about Ukrainians abroad and the preservation of Ukrainian identity around the world. Through podcasts, interviews and mini-courses, it brings the stories of the Ukrainian diaspora, immigrants and refugees who were displaced and succeeded.
DIAMAP recorded and posted 5 podcasts about Mriya Aid and interviewed us at the Lviv Radio station. In 2025, a “History of the Ukrainian Diaspora in Canada” course will be implemented with the support of the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation.

Is a platform and community of Ukrainians operating abroad. It aims to help Ukrainians act decisively together, help each other, preserve their national identity and cultural heritage, and to coordinate global actions that support Ukraine.

Spearheads events and projects that promote Ukrainian culture and support Ukrainians impacted by war. UCAG runs the Rehabilitation Program for the Children of Fallen Heroes in the Carpathian Mountains, providing trauma therapy and positive experiences to grieving children.
Mriya Aid supported UCAG’s work with Team Ukraine’s competitors at the 2025 Invictus Games, and veterans’ families and adaptive sport initiatives in Ukraine.

Was founded in 2014 by Ukrainians in the U.S. jointly with several volunteer initiatives in Ukraine to deliver critical medical supplies in response to Russian aggression in Eastern Ukraine and Crimea.
Mriya Aid has purchased and delivered CAT Gen 7 tourniquets to the Leleka Foundation.

The Hospitallers is a volunteer-driven initiative established in 2014 to provide medical support to Ukrainian soldiers. The work of paramedics has been critical during the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, as they provide support in the most dangerous regions along the front.
In early 2023, Mriya Aid purchased and delivered CAT Gen 7 tourniquets to the Hospitaliers.

Mriya Aid has engaged and worked with PCM MAT Kosovo since 2022. PCM offers Mriya Aid a preferred rate as a donation and commitment to Ukrainians to ensure that Ukrainian men and women have the best possible professional learning experience.

UTP designs, manufactures and supplies specialized demining equipment for Ukraine’s defense and security sector. Focusing on safety in R&D and manufacturing helps sappers work effectively and safely when demining land and infrastructure and restoring war-affected areas and liberated territories.
In 2024, Mriya Aid procured demining toolkits from UTP for different units of AFU and NGU, and worked with UTP on printing and disseminating the mine identification manual “Mina” to Ukrainian sappers and demining training centres in Ukraine.

SafePro Group
Safe-Pro designs, engineers and manufactures bullet and blast-resistant body armor and PPE including vests, plates, ballistic helmets, EOD suits, and works in Ukraine with drone and AI systems to expedite mine detection and clearance.
Mriya Aid has worked with SafePro since 2023, purchasing ballistic and blast-resistant EOD suits, toolkits, and other gear for AFU and SSTS sappers. We also partnered to provide an SSTS sapper squad with EOD PPE, tools, and gear.
